Can We Rely On God’s Protection Alone?

As believers, we can rely on God’s protection alone, but that does not mean we should neglect taking practical steps to protect ourselves. While God’s protection is perfect and complete, He also expects us to exercise wisdom and use the resources He has given us to protect ourselves and others.
For example, we can rely on God’s protection while driving, but we should also wear seat belts, obey traffic laws, and drive defensively. We can rely on God’s protection while traveling, but we should also take necessary precautions, such as researching our destination, carrying appropriate documents and medications, and avoiding dangerous areas.
Similarly, we can rely on God’s protection while facing spiritual battles, but we should also put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), pray, read and study the Bible, and seek wise counsel from other believers.
In short, we can rely on God’s protection alone, but we should also take practical steps to protect ourselves and others. As we do so, we can trust that God will guide and protect us, and that His perfect protection will always be with us.
